1) I only read Splitsider articles that are cross-posted on the Awl, so I probably don’t have a great basis for making judgments. (Although I assume stuff that’s cross-posted is deemed to be elite content, so maybe I have an excellent basis. Who knows.) I got off the bus because the guy kept going on about Demi Moore and how he wants to convert all the crackheads to whippits “because it’s better and cheaper.” Then he OFFERED TO SHARE WITH THE ONE BLACK GUY ON THE BUS, saying “I know you want some.” I had to get off before I started fighting with him.

The Best Film of 2011 Is Iranian →
I don’t see a ton of movies in the theater (especially not Oscar-caliber flicks) and I’m definitely not a film critic, but I did see A Separation, and boy, was it good. I can’t imagine it not being able to go toe-to-toe with some of the other Best Picture nominees.
